At Carbon Sci-Tech Labs we develop different carbon materials and activation by plasmas, CO2 and water vapour.

We usually start from biomass and bioethanol to produce carbon, carbon nanotubes, graphenes and diamonds with different properties such as high surface area, high electrochemical stability, robustness, excellent electronic and ionic conductivity.

In addition to the production of the raw material, we carry out several processes of functionalization and activation by plasmas and heated vapors of water and CO2. Our specialty is the production of activated carbons for use in electrodes for supercapacitors and graphene materials for batteries. However, we are not limited to these technologies.
